About Us!
Since 2012 !We are a family ran catering business that started from simple party trays and expanded to catering for full-on weddings/events. Our service and food represents our family as a whole and we hope to bring that same love to our guests and loved ones. Christine's had a quite a dream in her heart, she didn't want just another "asian restaurant wedding"Our family came up with an idea wanted to share real Chinese and Vietnamese dishes wherever a wedding could take place, not limited to just one location!

Executive Chef
Andy Cuong Gian
Andy is a proud Chinese-Cantonese native whose culinary roots span generations and borders. His parents are originally from Guangzhou, China, later immigrating to Vietnam, where Andy was born in Bien Hòa. He comes from a third-generation family renowned for Cantonese roasted bbq duck, a tradition passed down with skill, discipline, and pride.
Following the Vietnam War, Andy left Vietnam as a refugee and resettled in Houston, Texas in the 1980s. There, he honed his craft in some of Houston’s most well-known restaurants, including Kim Sơn, and served as a chef for major catering events, Houston Rodeo, and the University of Houston campus.
At heart, Andy has always believed that food is about family, celebration, and togetherness. His cooking reflects classic Cantonese roots—meant to be shared family-style—especially during meaningful gatherings and events.
Over the years, Andy owned and operated several Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Eventually, he and his family—alongside his daughters—made a pivotal decision: to focus entirely on catering. They recognized that many Asian weddings were limited to restaurant venues, and his daughter envisioned something more—bringing authentic, elevated Asian cuisine to any setting, without compromising tradition or aesthetics.
What began as home-cooked meals and thoughtfully prepared party trays grew organically through word of mouth. Over the past 13 years, that vision has flourished into Andy’s Catering—a family-owned business built on heritage, craftsmanship, and heartfelt service, proudly serving weddings and celebrations with authenticity and care.
